An Bíobla Naofa 1981

Ghlaoigh Íosa an dáréag chuige agus thosaigh á gcur amach ina mbeirt agus ina mbeirt, agus thug údarás dóibh ar na spioraid mhíghlana.

Marcas 6:7

Dúirt Íosa lena deisceabail: “Síocháin daoibh! Amhail mar a chuir an tAthair uaidh mise, táimse do bhur gcursa uaim freisin.”

Eoin 20:21

Marcas 6 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

4 Ach dúirt Íosa leo: “Ní bhíonn fáidh faoi neamhchion ach amháin ina dhúiche féin agus i measc a ghaolta féin agus ina theaghlach féin.”
5 Agus ní fhéadfadh sé míorúilt ar bith a dhéanamh ansiúd ach amháin a lámha a chur ar bheagán othar agus iad a leigheas,
6 agus rinne sé ionadh dá ndíchreideamh.
Agus ghabh Íosa timpeall ar fud na mbailte ag teagasc.
7 Ghlaoigh sé an dáréag chuige agus thosaigh á gcur amach ina mbeirt agus ina mbeirt, agus thug údarás dóibh ar na spioraid mhíghlana.
8 D’ordaigh sé dóibh gan aon ní a bhreith leo i gcomhair an bhóthair ach amháin bata – arán ná tiachóg ná airgead sa chrios;
9 ach cuaráin a chur orthu, “agus ná cuirigí dhá ionar oraibh”.
10 Agus dúirt sé leo: “Cibé áit a dtéann sibh isteach i dteach, cuirigí fúibh ann nó go mbeidh sibh ag fágáil na háite.

Eoin 20 (An Bíobla Naofa 1981)

18 Tháinig Máire Mhaigdiléana leis an scéala do na deisceabail: “Chonaic mé an Tiarna,” agus go ndúirt sé na nithe sin léi.
19 Tráthnóna an lae chéanna, an chéad lá den tseachtain, agus na doirse faoi ghlas le heagla na nGiúdach, san áit ina raibh na deisceabail, tháinig Íosa agus sheas ina measc agus dúirt leo: “Síocháin daoibh!”
20 Á rá sin dó, thaispeáin sé dóibh a lámha agus a chliathán. Bhí áthas ar na deisceabail nuair a chonaic siad an Tiarna.
21 Dúirt Íosa leo ansin arís:
“Síocháin daoibh!
Amhail mar a chuir an tAthair uaidh mise,
táimse do bhur gcursa uaim freisin.”
22 Arna rá sin dó, d’análaigh sé orthu agus dúirt leo:
“Glacaigí an Spiorad Naomh.
23 Na daoine a maithfidh sibh a bpeacaí dóibh,
beidh siad maite dóibh;
na daoine a gcoinneoidh sibh a bpeacaí,
beidh a bpeacaí coinnithe.”
24 Tomás, duine den dáréag ar a dtugtaí an Leathchúpla, ní raibh sé leo nuair a tháinig Íosa.

Marcas 6 (English Standard Version)

4 And Jesus said to them,
“A prophet is not without honor, except in his hometown and among his relatives and in his own household.”
5 And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them.
6 And he marveled because of their unbelief.
And he went about among the villages teaching.
7 And he called the twelve and began to send them out two by two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits.
8 He charged them to take nothing for their journey except a staff—no bread, no bag, no money in their belts—
9 but to wear sandals and not put on two tunics.
10 And he said to them,
“Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you depart from there.

Eoin 20 (English Standard Version)

18 Mary Magdalene went and announced to the disciples, “I have seen the Lord”—and that he had said these things to her.
19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood among them and said to them,
“Peace be with you.”
20 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and his side. Then the disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
21 Jesus said to them again,
“Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, even so I am sending you.”
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them,
“Receive the Holy Spirit.
23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you withhold forgiveness from any, it is withheld.”
24 Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came.
