God said to Abraham, As for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations.
Genesis 17:9
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Romans 3:23-24

And I will give to you and to your offspring after you the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.” |
| 9 And God said to Abraham, “As for you, you shall keep my covenant, you and your offspring after you throughout their generations. |
| 10 This is my covenant, which you shall keep, between me and you and your offspring after you: Every male among you shall be circumcised. |
| 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: |
| 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, |
| 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, |
| 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. |
